Video Coming soon. Fall 2024

High-quality documentation has more practical uses than ever before.

Where to begin

1. Determine your goals for the recording.

  • The Audience:

    1. Who are they?

    2. How & where will they access the recording?

    3. What reaction/response are you hoping for?

  • What is the budget?

    1. Start with “all options on the table” to brainstorm creatively, but…

    2. Develop plans that are attainable within a realistic budget.

No worries if you're unsure. I am here to help you ask and answer these and other questions along the way.

2. I’ll have my own set of questions about the event and venue, such as:

  • What will the physical setup need to be, to yield the best results?

If the venue has been chosen, or especially if not, we must consider these variables:

  1. Audio-Visual Needs:

  • The lighting

  • The visual backgrounds

  • The acoustics

  • The sound system, if any

  • The best vantage points, resulting backgrounds and sightlines

   2. Logistics, such as:

  • Workspace needs

  • Physical obstacles, including audience

  • Varying lighting conditions, reflections

  • Ambient noise

  • Electrical power, RF interference

  • Site access, parking, etc...

3. A budget and work schedule is agreed upon after careful consideration of the variables mentioned above.

4. The “real work” begins.

  • Coming soon: a video will demonstrate and discuss further details.
